Notices about acquiring permanent land rights where ownership of land is unknown

Our work to-date to replace the gas pipeline beneath the River Humber has been carried out using temporary powers under the Development Consent Order granted by the Secretary of State in 2016.

As part of the work to ensure that permanent rights are in place for the new tunnel, gas pipeline and associated works, it is now necessary for National Grid to execute two legal documents, known as General Vesting Declarations (GVDs). Those are in respect of two parcels of land on both sides of the river where land ownership is unknown. GVD 1 relates to land at Paull. GVD 2 applies to land at Goxhill.

Printed copies of the relevant notices will be publicly available at the following locations from Monday 27 January 2020 until Friday 6 March 2020:
